The display has rounded corners that follow a beautiful curved design, and these corners are within a standard rectangle. When measured as a standard rectangular shape, the screen is 6.27 inches (iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro), 6.55 inches (iPhone Air) or 6.86 inches (iPhone 17 Pro Max) diagonally. Actual viewable area is less.
iPhone Air is designed to be the thinnest iPhone ever – it’s just 5.6mm thick – but without compromising on the processing power. So, you get the mightier A19 Pro chip, whereas iPhone 17 comes with the standard A19 chip. There’s also a larger screen on iPhone when compared to iPhone 17 – 6.5-inches versus 6.3 inches.
However, iPhone 17 has a Dual Fusion camera system, with a 48MP main camera and 48MP ultra wide camera. Whereas iPhone Air has a single Fusion 48MP main camera.
