Adult content settings
How to access adult content
Only you or an authorised contact can request access to age-restricted sites. Switching this filter off is simple, however. As long as you and your members are over 18, you can switch it off whenever you like.
You’ll need a credit card to verify your age. If you don't have a credit card to hand, please chat to us.
- Log in to your My3 account using your registered email address and password. If you haven't logged in before, you'll need to register first. See the registration guide
- Go to 'Plan' on the navigation bar
- At the top of the page select the number you want to view by clicking the drop down menu under ‘View for’
- Scroll down and select 'Edit' under 'Adult content'
- Turn the filter on using the toggle. If this is your first time allowing adult content you will have to verify your age, if not, select 'Save changes' to save your changes
- To verify your age enter your credit card details into the fields and select 'Pay now'. There will be no payment taken
If you're having problems updating your settings, just chat to us and we'll give you a hand. You can also visit a Three store, if that's easier.
Please note that if you’re using an Apple device and have iCloud Private Relay enabled, this can prevent the Adult Content Filter from working correctly. For more information and guidance on this, please head to iCloud Private Relay.

Frequently asked questions
In support of the UK government's drive to improve internet safety, all services have our internet content filter switched on by default. This includes adult content, gambling, some personal blogs, and file-sharing sites. We’ve updated the way we handle internet traffic to improve the experience for all customers. You’ll get open internet access without filters.
